Hi, I’m Heather! I’m a Registered Nurse and the founder of HD Medical Aesthetics in Lincoln, NE. I’d like to share more about why I founded HD and bring you along on my journey!
After graduating from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, my nursing journey started in burn and wound care, where I gained a profound understanding of skin health and healing. This expertise laid a strong foundation for my transition into aesthetics, a field I have passionately specialized in for the past five years.
After working at medical spas for a few years, I knew that I wanted something different - something that reflected not only my passion for skincare and wellness, but also the midwest values. From this vision, became HD Medical Aesthetics.
Aesthetic trends can look and feel overdone in today’s world, so I set out to offer treatments that are natural-looking, conservative, and tailored to each individual. Here in the Midwest, subtle elegance and authenticity matter. At HD, every product and protocol is carefully selected for real results I stand behind. This goes from the skincare I personally use to the treatments that elevate, without altering.

As a mother myself, I understand how chaotic life can be between school drop-offs, to soccer practice, to unexpected illnesses. This is why I created a space where flexibility meets luxury—offering evening and weekend appointments, so busy women can still make time for themselves. Self-care shouldn’t be a luxury. It should be accessible, flexible and rooted in dignity.

One reason I started HD is because I don’t fit the typical mold often seen in aesthetics. I’m not tall, not blonde, not overfilled or overly done—and I love and embrace that. It’s given me the confidence to lead with authenticity, and it helps my clients know they don’t need to “look the part” in order to receive aesthetic treatments. You belong here, just as you are and just as you wish to be!
I was born and raised in Lincoln, NE. And while I’ve always loved this city, becoming more involved in the community through HD has deepened my appreciation. Collaborating with local businesses through pop-up events and partnerships has shown me just how community-driven Lincoln truly is. Every connection has given me a chance to learn, meet incredible people, and contribute to this place we call home.
